Know Your Onions is the brainchild of Jayne Simmonds. Having worked for (far too many years) designing for the ceramic industry, Jayne felt it was time to set up on one’s own. Jewellery, particularly big, bold jewellery has always been a passion (verging on an obsession!) hence creating pieces that reflect her love for grand statements. Her desire was to produce contemporary pieces that are intrinsically nostalgic, so whether worn with cutting edge fashion or grubby jeans, they look great.
The pieces are intricately engraved with details and patterns with an antique, heirloom quality yet are big, bold and dramatic. The collection comprises of bangles, pendants and brooches, which are available in two finishes, ivory and slate. Made of resin, the two finishes work equally well mixed together or on their own.
All the products are designed, modeled and made in the UK.
